Joedan Policies

Joedan have a number of policies and practices in place to ensure that Joedan are conducting business in an ethical and transparent manner. These include:

Joedan recognises that its staff are fundamental to its ongoing success and therefore needs to be able to attract and retain staff of the highest calibre and a strategic, professional approach to recruitment is essential to achieve this.

Joedan is committed to providing a work environment that is free from human trafficking and slavery in accordance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 by promoting ethical employment practices. Therefore, Joedan will not knowingly work with clients or suppliers that knowingly employ or utilise forced labour.

The Joedan pay policy is a set of principles and directives designed to guarantee a system of fair pay for everyone and is based on individual employee responsibility, performance and the objectives achieved.

An agency worker works at Joedan through an employment agency which finds them jobs. Agency workers will either have a contract for services or a contract of employment with the agency who finds them work. Should Joedan require an agency worker, Joedan will pay a fee to the agency, and the agency will then pay the agency workers’ wages direct.

Any fraud, misconduct or wrongdoing by staff or others working on behalf of Joedan will be reported and properly dealt with. We therefore require all individuals to raise any concerns that they may have about the conduct of others or the way in which the organisation is run.

Joedan procurement policy complies as a minimum with all relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice and other requirements applicable to management of the supply chain, whilst ensuring through its procurement contracts, that the supply chain remains compliant, in particular, with health, safety, quality and environmental requirements.
